The traditional trumpet festival in Guča begins today and lasts till August 11. Dragačevo is a unique competition of brass bands, where over 20 bands from all over Serbia competes. This kind of competition is unique worldwide and it attracts close to 1,000,000 visitors each year, both foreign and domestic. This event is completely in service of Serbian tradition, because except trumpet, visitors can enjoy concerts of folk singers, folklore, contest for the most beautiful national costumes, performances of folk customs, art exhibitions…
The positive atmosphere spreads through Guča with first sounds of a trumpet, which inspire people to start dancing spontaneously.
